Welcome New Faculty: Dr. Darlène Dubuisson

Dr. Darlène Dubuisson joins the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences as assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology.

Her research interests span sociocultural anthropology, activist and engaged anthropology, and feminist and Black studies. Dubuisson's work weaves together analyses of Black radical intellectual, social, and political movements, diaspora, and crises and futures. Her primary geographic focus is Latin America and the Caribbean.

Dubuisson received her PhD from Columbia University in 2020.
